That depends on how many rentals we have that day.
Generally, we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.

No. The bounce house and/or other items will be clean and disinfected when we release it to you on delivery day. Jump and Play RVA cleans, vacuums, and sanitizes every bounce house after each rental. In addition, we wipe down the rental at delivery to ensure you have a clean bounce house. We pride ourselves on meticulously maintaining our units. As a further step starting in 2020, we sanitize the units on site at the time of delivery prior to turning it over to you.
Yes. A blower keeps air in the bounce house the entire time. Once unplugged, the bounce house will deflate.so we require an outlet within 100' of the unit or a generator. As part of your rental, we supply heavy duty cords to reduce the risk of tripping a circuit.
We love setting up at parks, but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you will need to rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost or you can use your personal one if it is large enough to power the blowers.
County/Municipal parks have established rules regarding bounce houses. Check with the park prior to placing your reservation. If you need a certificate of insurance (COI), we can provide free of charge. Please provide the information for the additional insured at least 7 days prior to your event date for processing.
You are responsible for any application and reservations fees charged by the park.

Most of our jumps are at least 15'x15' which is a little bigger than many companies rent. Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture). When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumpers need room to be securely staked, need room for the blower, and can't rub against walls or trees as this may damage the vinyl. The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for a safe set up. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.
Please check the requirements listed with each bounce house on the information pages. Also, make sure you have at least a 4' access to the area where it will be set up. The bounce houses can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.
Grass is our preferred surface, however, dirt, asphalt, and concrete are acceptable. We provide a ground covering to protect the grass and the vinyl on the bouncer. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps. Due to safety concerns, wet units can only be set up on grass. Snow is a no-no.
Note: Please mow grass at least 2-3 days before the event to help keep wet grass off the units. If you have animals, please make sure you pick up before we arrive to help control the germs and cleanliness of our equipment. A cleaning fee may apply for yards that are not suitable for set up when we arrive. Please help us to help you have a germ free event!

Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If, however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
Each unit is unique and has limits based upon manufacturer statements. All capacity information is listed next to each bouncer prior to reserving. Most of our bouncers have an 800-1000 lb capacity. Limits are for safety and should be adhered to for the safety of all.

Even though most units have roofs, they are not watertight. If it's raining, even a light mist, the vinyl becomes slippery and caution needs to be exercised. Let us know by 7 AM on the day of your event if you will be canceling due to rain and there will be no charge. Please call or text us at (804) 922-3762. Email is not the best option at this point. We do not want you to be stressed. We will strive to work with you for a rain date for your event. If not, we hope and appreciate to hear from you for your next event!
Note: After we deliver, we do not issue refunds regardless if unit is used or not.

Winds over 15 mph are unsafe. Keep a watchful eye on wind conditions. If winds are above 15 mph, have the riders exit and turn the blower off! Once the wind conditions improve, turn the blower on, check the corner stakes and make sure they are still secure. If all is well, allow the riders to enter the bouncer. Good judgment and adult supervision are very important.

Yes, whatever surface you will be having your foam party on will get wet. You should plan accordingly.
Depending on whether your location is arid or humid, a large amount of the water is lost through evaporation as the foam goes away. After the party, the foam solution will leave little to no residue that will blow away or can be rinsed away with a water hose.
It all depends on how many people play in the foam. As more people play in the foam, they pop the bubbles. But usually, if foam is untouched, it can last for hours.
If you let the foam evaporate or dry out, it does not leave any sticky residue. Depending on the amount of water and foam you use, you can have leftover water on the floor, which can be mopped up.
Outdoors on a grass surface is best. The foam will get slippery; if you are going to hold a foam party on a hard surface we would recommend that children wear athletic shoes. Foam products have been used for decades at events; the safety record of foam party events exceeds that of inflatable bounces.
All ages! Ideal for ages 5-90. The young and young at heart will have a blast playing in the foam. We do not recommend anyone younger than 3 years of age in the foam.
Yes, our foam is non-toxic, hypo-allergenic. We can provide the MSDS, if requested.
No, our foam is non-toxic, hypo-allergenic. Exposure to eyes for a longer period of time may cause redness. Some children prefer to have goggles.
Yes, revelers will get wet. The foam solution will not harm kids. The foam solution is biodegradable, non-toxic and hypo-allergenic and is safe for clothes, pets, or lawns.
No, the foam is a biodegradable, non-toxic substance. It is completely safe for plants and grass.
Our foam fluid is designed to evaporate/dissipate. If the event is outdoors (or if allowable indoors), you can simply spray a water hose on the foam to dissolve it. If the event is indoors, you can use a mop, squeegee, or wet-vac to remove the foam.
The foam does not have necessarily have to fill up the entire room, a corner area is fine, but you will need to barricade it off in that corner or else it will spread to the rest of the room. It is important to note that although the foam can be kept to one corner of a room, participants can carry foam throughout facility producing small amounts of water! (This water equivalency is comparable to water tracked inside when it is raining).
The foam does pile up to approximately 3-4 feet before it starts to spread if not contained.
There are many ways to accomplish. Some ways are by using an inflatable pit, building a containment area, using the dance floor, or just by using a nice grassy area.
Any temperature above freezing will work.
No, the foam pit is great for keeping the foam and occupants within a certain area. But there are numerous other ways to throw foam parties. You can simply allow the foam to build up if you are outside on grass or other soft surface. You can do this inside as well, but the water will be present.
Yes, we can accommodate, however, email or call us to discuss your event.

The foam pit is a 20' x 20' vinyl enclosure. It is made of the same strong material as our bounce houses. In addition, there is a bottom to keep the mud at a minimum.
